Group Therapy (Worry, Rumination & Bullying)

Structured Group Therapy treatment focuses on equipping you with practical skills and strategies to address repetitive negative comments and thinking. This can help improve related symptoms of anxiety and depression/low mood. The treatment approach used is Metacognitive Therapy. This is based on the premise that our initial negative thoughts are NOT the problem, but how we respond to negative comments and thoughts is the issue. We often respond to our negative comments and thoughts in unhelpful ways that can increase self-harm, anxiety and depression, because of certain beliefs we may not realise we hold.
